Here is a tasty and easy breakfast you can put together the night before and have ready to go in the morning.
Soaking the seeds with probiotics helps improve their digestibility and reduce their anti-nutrient content.
1/2 cup chia seeds
1 cup yogurt or kefir
1 cup milk
The night before, mix all ingredients. If possible, stir periodically to prevent clumping. If you mix this up right before bed and don’t have time to stir periodically, that’s fine too. Cover with a cloth and leave on the counter overnight.
In the morning, mix well to remove clumps. Drizzle with maple syrup or honey and top with chopped fruit. Enjoy!
