Garlic Goat Heart⁣

I tried every Instagram filter to try to make this picture look appetizing, and failed, but trust me, this is really delicious!⁣

This is a very quick and easy way to prepare heart. I have made this recipes several times with beef heart and I loved it. This time I used a goat heart, and it came out great as well. ⁣


Heart (beef or goat)⁣

Fresh garlic (as much as you want)⁣

Butter, ghee, lard, or tallow for sautéing ⁣

Trim all the fat and vessels from the heart, you should just have muscle meat left. Slice into thin slices.⁣

Mince or crush the garlic.⁣

Rub the heart slices with the crushed garlic and salt.⁣

Heat cooking fat of choice on a pan on medium heat. When it is hot, add heart slices and cook for a couple of minutes on each side, until cooked through.⁣

Serve immediately and enjoy!⁣
