Garlic Goat Heart
I tried every Instagram filter to try to make this picture look appetizing, and failed, but trust me, this is really delicious!
This is a very quick and easy way to prepare heart. I have made this recipes several times with beef heart and I loved it. This time I used a goat heart, and it came out great as well.
Heart (beef or goat)
Fresh garlic (as much as you want)
Butter, ghee, lard, or tallow for sautéing
Trim all the fat and vessels from the heart, you should just have muscle meat left. Slice into thin slices.
Mince or crush the garlic.
Rub the heart slices with the crushed garlic and salt.
Heat cooking fat of choice on a pan on medium heat. When it is hot, add heart slices and cook for a couple of minutes on each side, until cooked through.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
