Fresh warm applesauce is a delicious dessert for chilly fall days. I eat it with sour cream because everything tastes better with sour cream, and applesauce is no exception!


3 apples, peeled and finely diced

Fresh juice from one orange

Dash of cinnamon

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer covered for 30 minutes, until apple pieces are very soft and tender.

Either serve as is or put in a blender and blend to a smooth consistency. Serve with a dollop of sour cream. Enjoy!
